Stipe Kljaić conducted archival research in the Vatican Apostolic Archives from September 22 to 28, 2024. The funds of the Segretaria di Stato Rubricelle (1915-1930) and Segretaria di Stato Schedario (1930-1939) were researched.

From October 5 to 12, 2024, Marko Vukičević conducted archival research at the Political Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Politisches Archiv des Auswärtigen Amts) in Berlin. The research was carried out as part of the fund Gesandtschaft Zagreb (Legation Zagreb, DE-PA-RAV-301-1), and a total of 15 archive units, boxes, and volumes were examined.

Mario Jareb conducted archival research at The National Archives (TNA) in London from 4 to 7 December 2024. The research was conducted within Fund 371, Foreign Office: Political Departments: General Correspondence from 1906-1966. The material related to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia from 1934 to 1937 was researched.

From February 14 to 29, 2025, Hrvoje Čapo and Mario Jareb conducted archival research at the National Archives, College Park, Maryland. The material in Record Group (RG) 84, Records of Foreign Service Posts, Diplomatic Posts, Yugoslavia, for the period from 1925 to 1935, was researched.

From October 19 to 25, 2025, Marko Vukičević conducted archival research at the Political Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Politisches Archiv des Auswärtigen Amts) in Berlin. The research was carried out with funds from the Gesandtschaft Belgrad (Embassy in Belgrade, DE-PA-RAV-23) and the Personal Akten fund (Personal files, Altes Amt, DE-PA-P-1).

Mario Jareb and Domagoj Knežević conducted archival research at The National Archives (TNA) in London from November 8 to 16, 2025. The research was conducted within Fund 371, Foreign Office: Political Departments: General Correspondence from 1906-1966. The material related to the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes/Yugoslavia from 1927 to 1933 and from 1937 to 1939 was researched.

Stipe Kljaić conducted archival research in the Vatican Apostolic Archives from November 23 to 29, 2025. The material of the Congregazione Consistoriale, Relationes Dioecesium, 1169A, and the Congregazione Consistoriale Visita Apostolica, 1213, was researched.
